SATURDAY'S GAMES.
SOME INTERESTING CONTESTS. IMPROVEMENT OF GREENS. The recent rain made a great change iu the appearance of tho Thames bowling greens, and if line weather prevails during this week the greens should be in good order for the Easter tournament, when 28 teams will take part. There was a good attendance on Saturday, when the following games were playod:— Gibb, Griffin, Shand, Smith 20, beat Adamsou, McConuell, Lockett, Twentymau 14. McDonald, Cordes, Gallop, Saunders 36 beat Briggs, Howe, Middlebrook, Strange 15. Martin, Strange, Johns, Buchan 25 beat Montague, Currie, Gooder, Fen wick 19. Cartwright, Bell, Cartwright, Pratt 22 beat Budge, Cooper, McCuilough, Boyle 13. Palmer, Dclamore, Taylor, Bongarrt 27 beat Lomas, Gordon, Hilton, Williams 18.
