THROWN OUT OF CAR.
MARRIED MAN KILLED. RESULT OF COLLISION. INSTANTANEOUS DEATH. [By Telegraph.—Press Association] HASTINGS, Dec. 23. Mr. John Hopcroft, a married man with a grown-up family, a farmer of Poukawa, was killed this morning when the car he was driving collided with another driven by Mr. J. Puriri, a Maori, at an intersection. Mr. Hopcroft was thrown out of the car and carried against a brick wall by another car. When extricated he was dead.
