PLAYED GAME OF CHANCE. £2 FINE INFLICTED. [By Telegraph. —Press Association] AUCKLAND, July 31. Described by the police as an habitual gambler who had left Auckland since being arrested with nine other persons for playing crown and anchor on Central Wharf on May 4, William Augustine Breiuian failed to appear ficfore Mr. F. H. Levicn, S.M., in the Police Court, when charged with playing a game of chance. A fine of ? and costs 12/- was imposed.
