MR. W. R. B. MITCHELL'S LOSS,

SMALL INSURANCE. About 2/15 this morning Mr. W. R. B. Mitchell, of Puriri, was awakened by a falling picture, and on going out to tho kitchen found the room in flames. To-day the brick chimneys are the only remains of the building standing. Mrs. Mitchell is in Braemar Hospital, and both Mr. Mitchell and his son this morning only had the clothes they stood up in.

The building was insured for £350, the furniture, piano and wireless for £225. Both Mr. and Mr«. Mitchell arc heavy losers.
