''Modem Times," Charlie Chaplin's latest film to be screened at the King's finally to-night, offers a generous supply of the most novel and hilarious situations Chaplin has ever concocted. Paulette Goddard appears for the first time in a feature role, and gives a splendid portrayal. Ann Harding and Herbert Marshall are starred in "The Flame Within," to be screened at the King's Theatre to-morrow. "Sutter's Gold," a drama of California's hey-day, is the second film, and features Edward Arnold, Leo Tracy and Binnie Barnes. THE REGENT. "Nobody's Fool," a smart, swiftlypaced farce, featuring Edward Everett Horton, is to be screened at the Regent finally to-night. He is well supported by Glenda Farrell, Cesar Romero and Warren Hymer. The second attraction, "The Calling of Dan Matthews," is an adoption of Harold Bell Wright's famous novel, and has a cast headed by Richard Arlen and Charlotte Wynters. "Charlie Chan's Secret," another Warner Oland story, is screening at the Regent Theatre to-morrow.
