BODY IN RIVER
ELDERLY WIDOW'S FATE

The body oL' a woman, idmitilied as Mrs. Bertha Adamson, aged (58, -was taken from the Wanganui River this morning, attired in a singlet, a ilanneletto nightdress and an overcoat. There were no stockings or shoes. One hand held a lurch, and a heavy plain gold ring and a wedding ring were worn by deceased.
Deceased, a widow who resided with Mrs. Auder at 6 Easton lu>ad, was last seen at 9.30 o’clock last
evening.
