“FLYING FLEA” DESIGN. (By Telegraph. l —Press Association). NAPIER, Jan. 10. The “Flying- Flea,” the midget aeroplane by which, according to some English and Continental authorities, private flying may become the hobby of the multitude, is at present much ip the news in Hawke’s Bay. A Napier resident has offered to supply the Napier Aero Club with one of the machines, while, coincidental! v, the construction of a “Flying Flea” in Waipukurau is announced. The “Spirit of Waipukurau” is the name which will probably be given to the “Flying Flea,” which is beingbuilt in the Central Hawke’s Bay township of that name. The work is being doin' by two enthusiasts, Messrs. E. K. Perkins and L. Hawke, and it is hoped to have it completed in time for the machine to make its first flights early next month.
