Mr. A. W. Watters, Official Asr signee for the Auckland district, was in Thames to-day on official business. The marriage will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Anglican Church, Kandwiek, to-morrow, of Mr. Eric Kelly, formerly of Thames, and Miss Mona Laughnan, of Sydney. Mr. and Mrs. Kelly will leave later by the Marama for Wellington, thence to Thames, returning to Sydney on December 24. Mr. J. Hill, formerly Thames district representative for the Mutual Life and Citizens’ Assurance, Company, and lately of Ahe Auckland office staff, has received notice of transfer on promotion to Palmerston North. He takes up his-new duties early in the New Year. •• •
