MATCH FOR PONSONBY JUNIORS. At a meeting of the Thames Rugby Union's management committee last evening, Mr. D. Mackay presiding, Mr. G. Pollock was appointed manager of the representative team to visit Pukekohe on Saturday. A request for a match at Rhodes Park on September 29 from the Ponsonby juniors was accepted and the selection of a team was referred to the Union's senior and junior selectors, Messrs. C. Dufty and W. 0. Lomas, respectively, to decide. It was agreed that the match bo played as a curtain-raiser to the Birch Cup challenge match, Waihi v. Thames. i
