New Solicitor-General.
OFFICIAL COURT CEREMONY. (By Telegraph —Press Association). WELLINGTON, Sept. 17., With due formality and before a large and representative gathering of the legal profession, the SolicitorGeneral, Mr. H. H. Cornish, took the declaration pertaining to King’s Counsel. There were five Judges on the Bench, the Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, and Justices Herdman, Blair, Kennedy and Fair.
