Thames Mining.
THE GOLCONDA REPORT. The manager of the Golconda mine, Thames, reports: — “During the week the following work has been in progress: Driving on the main reef has been continued and we are now 202 ft. from the shaft. The mineral rib is small in the roof of the drive, but is fairly strong underfoot, it being about IBin. wide on the floor of the drive. The other portion of the reef is now showing a little antimony, which is the first Ave have seen in this level, and is a good indication. The reef is a little disturbed at this point, as we have been in a small break, but the hangingwall country is noAV improving.”
