Labour Day Carnival
MEETING OF EXECUTIVE. CHILDREN’S PARTY TO BE HELD. A meeting of the Labour Day Carnival Committee was held in the Fire Station hall last evening, Mr. W. Wilton presiding. Mr. E. Griffin was appointed convenor for the programme committee. It was decided that the procession be formed from the Royal Hotel towards Victoria' Park in Brown Street. Notification of the large number of exhibits for the procession was received. It was reported that the ladies’ committee had decided to hold a children’s party on Friday, September 28.
