Injuries Fatal.
ELDERLY MAN’S DEATH. COLLISION WITH MOTORCYCLIST. <By Tefegraph—Press Association). CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 17. An elderly man, Mr. Alfred Reginald Newbury, of Sydenham, who received head injuries when he was knocked down by a motor-cycle in “Carlyle Street, Sydenham, on Friday pight, died in hospital early on Saturday morning. He did not regain consciousness. The motor-cyclist, Str. Victor Sayers, of New Brighton, is still in hospital, but his condition is improving. Pe also suffered head injuries.
