DEATH IN HOSPITAL. (By Telegraph—Press Association). CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 1. The death is reported in Rotherham Hospital of Mrs. Alf. Brustad, formerly Miss Aroha Clifford. Prior to her marriage she was a flying enthusiast. j She was New Zealand’s first woman pilot. 1 Mrs. Brustad was 25 years of age. Her death followed the birth of a son two days ago. Her husband was a former guide at Mt. Cook.
