Still On Strike.
AUCKLAND UNEMPLOYED. NEW PAY NOT ENOUGH.. __ (By Telegraph.—Press Association) AUCKLAND, , April 26 The Council of the Auckland Unemployed Workers' Association to-day decided that the new scales of relief workers' pay were unacceptable, and resolved to continue the strike. In a letter to the Mayor, they contend that the new rates are not an improvement on the old.
