CLOSING OP SEASON.

PRIZES PRESENTED,

INCREASE IN LINKS RENT.

-The Thames Golf Club closed its season on Saturday afternoon last. The president, Mr E. J. 'Clendon, addressing a large cirbwd, said this concluded the twenty-first year of the club's existence. . He mentioned that the annual meeting would be held shortly, and forecasted a credit balance for the year. The important thing to be considered at that meeting. was the question of tenure of the links, which he understood, was going to cost the club mare in the future.

The president thanked those who had acted as officials during the year-, particularly the ladies' committee, who had m'ade such a success of the socials that had been held during the season.
