LOAN OF £IO,OOO.
WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL.
FOR UNEMPLOYMENT WORK.

The City Council has decided to raise a loan of £IO,OOO to be expended only in supervision, materials and insurances in connection with works under the No. 5 Scheme. The Council decided to set up an appeal board -for the City Corporation employees other than tramway men. The constitution will be considered at a later meeting.
