AT RAILWAY CROSSING.
PURIRI MAN FINED,
A case showing the determination of the police to enforce the Motor Regulations was brought before Mr F. W. Platts, S.M., in the Thames Court to-day.
That he had failed to slow up at the Hikutaia ferry railway crossing was the charge against Edward Andrew Smith, a carrier, of Puriri. The defendant pleaded' guilty by letter.
A fine of 10'- and cost? 12/- was inflicted.
