Occidental Una United. — During the week gold to the value, of approximately . £53 was banked, won mostly from - quartz from the hangingwall > leader; 1J tons treated at the School of Mines yielded Goz. geld./ Work is still being continued with a limited staff on the hangingwalk leader, which will average about 9in. in ' thickness of heavily mineralised quartz, and -at - each breaking-down strong dabs and colours of gold can be seen in thestone. The country through which the leader is traversing, is a nice, mild andesitee, favourable to good picked stone, being hard at each breaking-down. So far as we can see this leader is travelling in virgin country. j
