, During the week work in the mine has been confined to the extension of the south east leading stope and No. 3 stope north west on the Stockwork formation. Leading - Stope South East: This stope has been advanced a further distance of 8 feet. The reef formation will average about 4 feet wide, composed of country rock and quartz veins and. during the week colours of gold were tq l>e seen in the ore broken. No. 3 Stope, north' west of shaft: The reef system m this stope will average about 5 feet in thickness of quartz, intermixed with country rock. The quartz broken is heavily mineralised and at breaking down colours ■ and dabs of gold were to be seen.
