The man who has been responsible for a number of burglaries in and around Wellington was brought to book in the person of Court Frank Clark, aliass Edwards and Gifford, a labourer, who arrived in the Dominion early in July, very hard up. The stolen goods were from eleven burglaries, and totalled £251/13/3. He was committed for sentence. ■Charles Sender, who was charged with receiving from Clark, pleaded not guilty and was committed for trial.
