The butter market is slow. New Zealand, 169/-, 172/-; unsalted, 168/-, 172/. Australian, 167/-, 16!)/-. The cheese market is slow. New Zealand, white, 85/-, 86/-; coloured, 89/-, 90/-.
WEEK-END ADVICES. Mepsrs. Dalgety and ,C‘o.. Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London House dated Bth instant. Butter. —The market is depressed. New Zealand finest, salted, at 169/to 171/-; Danish butter, at 171/- to 172'-; Australian- finest, uiralted, at 162/- to 166/-; Australian finest, salted, at 162/ to 1 (■£/-; Australian C.A.Q., at 164/- to 158/- . Cheese. —The market is depressed. New Zealand coloured, at 89/- to 90,'-; New Zealand white, at 85/- to 86/-; Canadian white,- at 85/- to 85/-; Canadian coloured, at 89/ to . 90/-; Canadian V.i.f., at 86/. Frozen Meat.—Mutton and lamb very quiet Beef rather more enquiry. Quotations are unchanged.
