AWKWARD HOLD-UP.

IN LYTTELTON TUNNEL. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 12. A mechanical defect in an electrio locomotive which drew the early goods train to Lyttelton on Saturday morning caused a hold-up at am awkward moment. The train stopped in the middle of the tunnel, and it was not till two steam locomotives arrived' from Lyttelton and towed the train through that the trouble was overcome.
