CLAY ROADS.
SUBSIDY FOR. METALLING
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WAIHI, Aug. 12. residing in the Waihi Riding of the Ohinemuri County have authorised the raising of a special loan of £6OOO, which will carry, a Government subsidy of pound for pound, to be expended on the metalling of approximately 18 miles of clay roads giving access to farms off the main highways.
