HOCKEY PLAYERS MEET,

A meeting of the executive of tba Thames-Hauraki Hockey Association was held last evening at Mr T. O’Carroll’s residence at Kopuarahi*. Mr Crawford-Watson presiding. The matter of the formation an® levelling work at Rhodes Park was discussed, and the action of the Emergency Committee In having the ground ploughed was endorsed. Arrangements in connection with the forthcoming season were considered, and the president was instructed to endeavour to obtain a match at Thames with either the Australian or English tetims which are to visit the Dominion during the coming season.
