At a sitting of the Warden’s Court Mr. S. L. Monowai. The application of Leonard Adams lor protection for six months for the .Monowai special quartz claim, which had been consented to by the Minister subject to the condition that the licensee should, during the period of piotcction, employ at least two men lor the purpose of keeping the levels m repair, was granted. Protection Granted. I lotection was granted to Dominion Securities, Limited, for six months subject to the following conditions: That at least two men shall lie emplo\'ed immediately re-timbering the low level where required and restoring ventilation in the mine.

The properties affected are:—Ken sington S.Q.C., New Montana S.Q.C. Paroquet 5.Q.C.,, Zeelian S.Q.C., and three special sites, two water races, one tramway, and a prospecting licence. Puru Property. Eugene Langguth was granted protection for six months for Puru S.Q C., No. 7924. Residence Site. A residence site of one acre for a term of 42 years was granted to Tumataaho Pirimana. •, Coromandel Matters. Daniel Keane was granted an extended quartz claim of about five acres at Makakuau in Block XV., Coromandel Survey District, for a term of 42 years. Alfred George Harvey was granted a prospecting licence for a term of one year over 99 acres in Block 11. in the same district.
