THE Y.M.C.A.
DOMINION CONFERENCE. (Bv Telegraph.—Press Association.) ' CHRISTCHURCH, March 28. The Dominion conference of the Y.M.C.A. opened to-day, Mr H. K. Wilkinson presiding over an attendance of forty delegates, who were welcomed by the Mayor, the Rev. J. Archer. The latter said the work of the Y.M.C.A. had been of incalculable value and it had a fine type of men as leaders... He hoped the Association would never be dominated by any section though unfortunately, like their churches, it lacked money, and it had to keep sweet with the men who had money but who were not progressive. The conference is now in session.
