TAX ON TROTTING CLUB. John Government collected by-'far the biggest dividend at the Thames trots on Saturday—in fact, he collected off every race, thus:
The money invested by the Government is about £5 (inspector's fee), so there is no doubt as to who made the most out of the meeting.'
