HONOUR TO SUPPORTERS.
LTFE MEMBERS ELECTED. A very pleasant little ceremony. occurred during the ' afternoon at the trots at Saturday when the President of the Thames Trotting Club intimated to Mr. and Mrs. Bert Collins and Mr. H. Lowe that they were wanted in the committee room. On arrival he presented' them each with a gold token of life membership of the Club an laid emphasis upon the great support and help they had been, not only in the establishment of the Club, but also in fostering the gaited game. Mr. Lowe, in a pithy reply on behalf of the newly-honoured members, stressed their fondness of the sport and the' sense of honour they felt at this tribute. Cheers terminated the function.-
