ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
ELECTRIC WORKER BURNT.

While working in the tower of the Criterion transformer at Paeroa, a Thames Valley Electric Power Board employee, Charles J .Twigg, had a narrow escape fro mdeatli by electrocution.
He had occasion to alter a timeswitch, and in doing so Twigg took off the leads and was in the act of pushing them to one side when his hands came inato contact with a 400-volt line. Twigg was knocked down, but was quickly released from his perilous position by his workmate, Rex Bara kat.
Twigg’s palm and fingers were severly burned.
