MIRACULOUS SURGERY.
A FACE RESTORED

LONDON, Jan. 20. “The age of miracles is not past,” said a member of the Wandsworth Board of Guardians, in referring to the latest achievement of the noted expert in plastic surgery, Mr. Gillies, F.R.C.S. a New Zealander. The reference was to the restoration by the surgeon of the face of an in mate of a local hospital, whose nose, . eyelid, and cheek were blown off in the war. . The speaker added that the patient was now handsomer than any member of the Guardians.
