FIRE AT HOKITIKA.
HOTEL DESTROYED.
(By Telegraph. —Press Association.) HOKITIKA, Dec- 4.
The Commercial Hotel (J. L. Fowler, licensee), a large wooden two-storeyed building in Revell Street, was pletely destroyed by fire at 1 o’elocle this morning. Practically all the contents were destroyed, the inmates getting out in their night attire. The fir® apparently stated in the middle of the building, and had a good hold when the alarm, was given. The insurances are not yet available.
