KING’S THEATRE.
TRIFLERS,” BY WALTER HIERS
Triflers are what I dislike nothing else but —. A trifler reminds me of an election promise, neither means anything. The promise is soon forgotten after the votes are counted, while the trifler never leaves enough impression behind to be remembered. They flit about like butterflies, creathing nothing, doing less —except spinning harm. Love thy neighbour as thyself, is beautiful philosophy, but would be much stronger if it added, "Leave triflers alone.” If triflers only saw themselves as others see them —they would hardly believe their own eyes—and if they did, their opinions of themselves would be as low, as is that of the rest of the world. THOMAS MEIGHAN. Thomas Meighan is supported by a great cast in his newest Paramount offering, "Old Home Week.” Lila Lee is the leading lady,' while others in the cast are Lawrence Wheat, Max Figman, Charles Clarke Sellon. "Old Home Week” will come to the King’s to-mor-row night.
