He said the idea was, in conformity with the general principles of the fund, to bring out from England girls who are of British seamen who served in the war, and train them to become capable country girls. Ho said the girls would be trained not only in domestic work, but also to take an active part in .dairying, gardening, bee-farming, and similar rural pursuits.
