18 CHARGES OF FRAUD. -(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Oct. 22. At the Police Court. John Petley, alias Henderson, a middle-aged man, was committed to the Supreme Court for sentences on 18 charges of fraud by means of valueless cheques, by which he received goods and money to the value of £66/4/3. under the names of J .Skinner, J. Kelly and J. “Bond. Tho accused, who was arrested at “Kerepeelvi, made a confession to the police.
