LADIES’ GOLF.

THE SEMI-FINAL. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 22. The ladies’ golf semi-finals in the Dominion Championship were played in perfect weather. Mrs. Dodgshun beat Miss Jems 3 up and 2 to play, Mrs. Cooke beat Miss Withers 4 and 3, Mrs. Guy Williams tied with Mrs. Dufam, each 4 up on bogey. In the second libndicap bogey competition, Miss Rattray won the section for those with a handicap over 12. Miss D. Petrie, who tied with Mrs. Dodgshun and Miss B. Cotterill in the first bogey competition, won the play off. Mrs. Kerr (Timnru) won the long-driving contest at 197 yards 2 feet; she also holds the best aggregate for 530 yards, at Ift. Tin. The first round of to-day’s championship final between Mesdames Dodgshun and Cooke commences at 9.30 a.m., and the second.round at 1.30 n.m.
