SHOW ABANDONED.
THE MORRINSVILLE FIXTURE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) MORRINSVILLE, Feb. 26. At a meeting of the general committee of the Morrinsville A. and P. Society last evening it was decided to abandon for this year the annual show, which was to have been held on March 11, on account of the epidemic of infantile paralysis. Members considered that the danger of spreading the infection was too great. It was also stated that numbers of farmers had turned their show stock mu on account of the possibility of shows being abandoned. The motion to abandon the show found only two dissentients.
