MINING.

pHINEMURI. Report for week ended 18th August, 1923: The South Drive on the Camoola Reef has been extended 13ft and is now out 590 ft. The reef in the present face is more compact and is still the full width of the drive with neither wall defined. The vein carrying the values is still in evidence although the values do not appear to be showing quite so strong. A fair flow of water is now issuing from the face and it is hoped that .the upper levels will, by this means, be unwatered. WAIOTAHI.
