damage elsewhere. DREDGER CAPSIZES. (Reuter). PEKIN, Aug. 20. Reports from Macao state that during the typhoon the Netherlands harbour dredger capsized and only two of the crew were saved. The harbour works were considerably damaged. The Portuguese armed armed steam launch Almiramt Hehugo foundered and one out of a crew of firteen Avere saved. A number of Chinese launches and junks were sunk or are missing. Some passengers have been picked up but it is feared a considerable number are missing. a TIDAL WAVES. (A. and N.Z. Cable). SHANGHAI, Aug. 20. Reports state that the tidal waves which sAvept the north-Avest Korean resulted in 346 deaths and, over ,1000 are missing. Widespread damage was done to property.
