MOORS REPULSED. LARGE ARMY IN FIELD. (A. and N.Z. Cable.) MADRID, Aug. 20. A message from Mellila states that Spanish troops repulsed with bombs an attack upon an advanced position at •Tifaranin. Enemy activity continues along the whole front. WAR UNPOPULAR. tA. and N.Z. Cable.) LONDON, Aug. 20. The Daily Telegraph’s Madrid correspondent says that the Cabinet is divided on the question of despatching further reinforcements to Morocco. It is' claimed that the - 140,000 troops which are already there are sufficient to meet the case and it would be dangerous to send more in view of the country’s antipathy towards the Moroccan adventure.
