Pursuant to Section 50 of the Rating Act, 1908, notice is hereby given that the Hauraki Plains County Council, in pursuant of Sections 120 and 121 of Rating Act, 1908,” and amendments thereof respectively and of Section 41 of “The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909,” and of Section 6 of “The Local Bodies’ Finance Act, 1921-22.” and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, intends, at its next ordinary meeting to be held in its office at Ngatea on MONDAY, the 12th day of June, 1922, to make and levy the following rates: — 1. A SPECIAL RATE of Id in the £ on the rateable value (unimproved) on all rateable property within the County of Hauraki Plains for the purpose of paying off the first instalment of the “antecedent liability.” 4. THE ANNUAL recurring loan rates, now in force, will be levied and collected also accordingly. The said rates to be for the year commencing on the Ist day of April, 1922, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1923, and to be due and payable in one instalment on the 14th day of June, 1922, to Ernest Walton, County Treasurer, at the County Office, Ngatea.
