NUKUMARU TRAGEDY.
NO SIGN OF TROUBLE. AN AMENDED VERSION. (Press Association.) WANGANUI, October 13 Concerning tho tragedy at Nukumaru, according to information received last, night, the rfeport that Mrs. McGorman had been chased by her husband -was incorrect, as was tho reporii of a quarrel. It is stated that both left the homo to attend a school committee meeting, and i'fe was not until the morning that their absence was noted by a farm-hand, who lived in tho house. Ho says that there was no indication of any trouble between McGorman and his wife.
