SYDNEY INCIDENT. TOWN CLERK’S REPORT. (A. and N.Z. Cable.) (Received 10.40 a.m.) SYDNEY. October 13. Tho Town Clerk of Sydney reported to the council that he had had a difference with tho Lord Mayor over his refusal to substitute tho Australian flag for the Union Jack cm the occasion of Mr. Storey's death, and ho asked to oe relieved of the responsibility for flying tho flag. .» ■ The Finance Committee deferred consideration of tho report.
