(From Our Correspondent.) Mr.' Joseph; Porter, of Pipiroa. has recently received' from; the Stratford 'district 1 aI herd': of'•: 62'„' Highgrade Jersey heifers.' 'The animals were sent by. train, 'via . Marton and Frahkton, and stood the journey very well indeed. " Mr. Porter is more than pleased with" the heifers, which will replace the'' Shorthorns formerly run on the farm. I ..understand that Mr.' Porter is bringing up from Taranaki four'grade bulls.
