RAIN, HAIL, AND SNOW.

Stormy weather, intensely cold, prevails over the' greater part of the . State. The gale along the coast has been the worst for many years.
Melbourne reports rain and hailstorms, and that snow is falling at Bejridigo for the first time in 25 years.
HEAVY SNOW.

Heavy snowfalls have occurred on the high lands, and the weather is the coldest for years.
