The championship of the Auckland Eiugiby League having been won outright by Nortln Shore Albions, it was decided to play a.n eliminating round among the four leading, teams as a test of end-of-season merit. This final (found was commenced with matches at Victoria (Park and the Domain Criciket Ground, which were won respectively by City Rovers 14 to 7 (against Ponsoniby United), and Newton Kaiusers 15 to nil (against North iShore lAlbions.) City and Newton will therefore play off and tihe day fixed for the match is Saturday week.
