The popularity of the programmes submitted 'by the above management Aowno signs.of wading and the excellent selection presented! at the Oddfellows' Hall last night certainly did not fail in its aim to please. The . first half was devoted to the projection of a host of dramatic,..comic, and scenic gems, each of which was" watched with sustained interest. The best picture in the dramatic class was entitled "Olios and Phylettes," ,a magnificent companion 'picture to the great sensation "The Fall of Troy,'" which proved such an attraction to the picture patrons of Thames'. Nat Gould's sporting drama /'The Dbuble Efrent," ably described by Mr A. Roothmaii, who was one of the \ rincipal actors in the .production,; again caused much enthusiasm. To-night, in place of this great (film, the thrilling convict story "Never Too Late to Mend," will ibe once agiain presented, mid.'as the interest attached to this picture is undying, another record house is predicted. Bright music >vi|i: be' rendered by the capable orchestra. "The Double Elvent" will he suibmitted aciain to-morrow night afosolutoly for the last time.
