The manager recently telegraiphed : "Imip-ovemejit in rise>. Saw dabs and colours of gold in the quartz." The rise on the main reef in the north drive is- up 2ilft. The reef in the back of the rise averages 2ft 6in of general quartz. During 1 the week a few colours of. goldi werei seen in the stone from the "footwall portion. The haaigingwall iportion is very heavily mineralised, and the country is congenial andesite.
