During last- month New Zealand exported 4€,'5>2'2- ounces of • gold, valued ait £185,271, as compared with 4-5,017 ounces, valued at £179,----4J.87, of iMay last year.
There, was a decrease for Hie fir/it five months of the present Year of 15,485 ounces 'of gold, valuedi at £55,151, bait an increase of 90,049 ouncjes of silver, Valued at £7300 as compared with the figures for a inrresponding period of last year.
