Fire Brigade Concert.
The local Fire Brigade concert oi Thursday evening next in the Odd fellows' Hall promises to be both enjoyable and successful. The pro gramme is an exceptionally good one : some of the performer* have not ye' appeared on the Thames. Solos wii be contributed by Miss A. Payne; Mr; Thomas, Mrs Payne, Miss M. Miller Mr P. Baker, and Mr Boyes. MisHipkins, a > clever performer of 11 years of age, will contributtwo items. This talented artist se ured firet prize out of 30 compe'ii tore in the Paris Exposition competi tions. In the second part the ■"Snowfla.kj Minstrels will engage the audienci with their coon songs and dance' This is the first appearance on th Thames of this world-famed group o' .sftar artists, everyone of which is ay entertainment in himself. Th< ; group - number in *il,i exclusive o their band', 24* Some very gqbd com panics have visited the Thaifiies , i one time or other, but nothing wil! compare with such items as will be offered by the beautiful SnowflaVt Minstrels. We confidently expect tf see an. exceptionally large audienc greet the rising of the curtain or Thursday evening.
