The local Fire Brigade concert oi Thursday evening next in the Odd fellows' Hall promises to be both enjoyable and successful. The pro gramme is an exceptionally good one : some of the performer* have not ye' appeared on the Thames. Solos wii be contributed by Miss A. Payne; Mr; Thomas, Mrs Payne, Miss M. Miller Mr P. Baker, and Mr Boyes. MisHipkins, a > clever performer of 11 years of age, will contributtwo items.
